The First Aid portion of this class will include bandaging, splinting, bleeding control, trauma procedures and medical emergency, choking, burns, shock, and other basic first aid procedures.

BLS – Healthcare Providers

Our Health Care Professional CPR Training Program is designed to teach procedures used by Emergency Medical Personnel. The American Heart Association designed the BLS for Healthcare Providers Course to give a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies; provide 1 rescuer and 2 rescuers CPR for adult, child and infant, use an AED (automated external defibrillator), use of a mask or BVM (bag valve mask), and choking foreign-body airway obstruction. This course fulfills the requirements for many healthcare providers and professional rescuers. This American Heart Association Healthcare Provider class has a mandatory written test.
